About New Hope
Sunday Worship Services
New Hope Sunday services run from 10:00 am to 11:15 pm each Sunday.
The service begins with worship followed by announcements, video’s and then the message. Our service usually wraps up about 11:15.
Children are dismissed after the announcements for Sunday school up to age 6.
Dress at the church is casual. We take a come-as-you are approach. Some people come to church in shorts and a t-shirt while others come in a suit and tie. We invite you to have a coffee or tea and you are welcome to take it with you to your seat.

New Hope Belleville History
In the Fall of 1994, Andy & Stephanie Woodworth moved to Belleville as the pastor of the Standard Church with the assignment of re-vitalizing what had once been a active congregation, but now found itself with fewer than 30 members. At the same time, Tim & Liz Day were sent by the Brethren in Christ denomination to pastor a newly formed congregation of about 50 people. Over the next year and a half the two couples met together and proposed a new joint initiative. On January, 1996, Belleville Standard Church and New Hope Fellowship, Brethren in Christ Church, came together to form New Hope Christian Fellowship, a unified congregation, accountable to two different denominations up until 2002 when it aligned solely with the BIC Church of Canada.
The church’s current pastor, Steve Paterson, moved from chairing the board of directors into the position of interim pastor following the departure of Andy Woodworth In August, 2012. He was confirmed as the permanent pastor in May, 2013.
